Attachments: Multiplying the Capability of Every Machine on Site
The true potential of modern construction plant is only fully realised when the right attachment is fitted to the right machine for the task at hand. Attachments transform a single piece of base plant into a multi-disciplinary tool capable of tackling an enormous range of applications — dramatically reducing the number of machines required on site, lowering overall hire costs, and keeping project programmes moving without the delays associated with mobilising specialist equipment for every individual task. From excavator buckets and hydraulic breakers through to sweepers, grabs, and specialist lifting accessories, the attachment market has expanded to cover virtually every conceivable site requirement.

Excavator attachments represent the broadest and most diverse category. Digging buckets in a range of widths and profiles handle general excavation, trenching, and grading. Hydraulic breakers deliver the percussive force needed to break reinforced concrete, rock, and other hard materials that a bucket alone cannot penetrate. Grabs and sorting claws manage demolition waste, timber, and mixed materials efficiently, while compaction plates and trench rammers consolidate backfill without requiring a separate machine. Auger drives bore precise holes for piling, fencing, and tree planting, and tiltrotators add a full rotation and tilt capability to the bucket that transforms grading, pipe laying, and complex shaping tasks.

Sweeper and collector attachments fitted to telehandlers, skid steers, and compact tractors bring rapid, efficient yard and road cleaning capability to machines already on site, eliminating the need for a dedicated sweeper on projects where cleanliness of haul roads and access routes is a contractual or environmental requirement.

Hydraulic quick hitches allow operators to change attachments safely from within the cab in a matter of seconds, eliminating manual handling risk and keeping changeover times to an absolute minimum.
