Access to a reliable power supply is a fundamental requirement on almost every construction site, outdoor event, emergency response operation, and remote industrial project. Where mains connection is unavailable, impractical, or simply too costly to establish, generators provide the self-contained electrical power that keeps operations running, from powering hand tools and site lighting towers through to supplying entire temporary site compounds.

Modern site generators are available across an enormous range of output capacities, from compact 2kVA units through to large industrial generators producing several hundred kVA. Selecting the right output capacity for the application is essential, an undersized generator running continuously at maximum load will consume more fuel and wear faster, while significant oversizing wastes fuel and increases unnecessary cost.

Stage V compliant diesel generators meet the latest emissions standards, reducing particulate and NOx output and making them acceptable for use in environmentally sensitive locations. For shorter duration or lower load applications, petrol generators offer a more compact and lightweight alternative. Hybrid and battery-backed generator systems pair well with our eco and hybrid plant range, allowing sites to reduce overall fuel consumption significantly across longer contracts.

Generators are also essential for powering industrial heaters and cooling equipment on sites without mains supply, and for charging the battery systems of electric access equipment from our scissor lift and boom lift ranges. Our bunded fuel storage tanks can be supplied alongside generator hire to ensure continuous, compliant fuel management on site.
